Toulouse (FR) is this fourth biggest city in France, south west. A big massive river crosses it.
Its catholic christian roots are pretty obvious in some ways.
Downtown's old shady streets are a godsend when the heat goes up in summer.
Shops here look sometimes quite a bit crazy, like this non-sense east-asian shop with a hand-written, hand-painted storefront.
Or this fortuneteller shop...
Streets are still crazily salmon-rose colored and mostly free from summer's heat
Some people might enjoy strange decoration on their balconies
Those days, there's some free music festivals in parks here and there, and people massively occupied both stages
Around the music festival park, they built a japanese garden (okay, it's much smaller than Montreal's one, but still...)
And finally you can be terrorised by a red-nosed monkey in most streets.
